About The Artist

As a crafter, both taking photos and creating with fabric play a role in my passion to create. Creating is relaxing and inspirational. Making something with my hands that someone else can enjoy is rewarding. I love when others ask me where that photo was taken or how did you do that. 

The colors in nature inspire the way I see the composition of my photos. As a self-taught photographer I enjoy landscapes and capturing the skyline the most. Although, I will stop for a good photo opportunity of random objects, animals, wildflowers and trees. I find these types of photos calming and reflective.

The use of fabric to quilt or sew my own patters or ideas has been a way to express my originality. Using what I’ve learned in other mediums of crafting lends itself to my out of the box style of creativity. 

Sometimes these two mediums collide into one creative idea.

To find the perfect balance I have one rule to follow; “If you like it, it’s right.”
